The AAUP's annual survey of salary and compensation data for higher education faculty at most institutions has been released; aggregate results are available on the AAUP website. State tables are available here.
University faculty in Nevada remain more or less where we were last year, in the 2nd (60th to 79th percentile) or 3rd (40th to 59th percentiles) quintiles, depending on rank -- with our junior faculty (the most likely to leave) in the lower rank.
When total compensation, including benefits are included, we fall into the 3rd quintile (40th to 59th percentile) for all ranks.
Full data is available to AAUP/ NFA members who receive a subscription to Academe where the full report is published in the April issue.
