Higher Ed budget set, now the hard work begins

Four months after Governor Gibbons proposed a budget that would have effectively ended UNLV as we know it, the key "money committees" of the state legislature closed an NSHE budget that averts the most dire situation. Everyone who made an effort should feel good about the successful effort to communicate our case to the legislature, and NFA was proud to be a part of that effort.

We'll start to find out some details about how it will impact UNLV at President Ashley's townhall meeting at 3pm Wednesday in the Student Union theater; all faculty and pro-staff are encouraged to attend.
