CSN at breaking point, gaming profits up

The final story in the RJ's series on the Higher Education crisis in Nevada is about the stark and dire situation of CSN, which provides access to higher education for tens of thousands a year. The story highlights how that access is being severely limited and how those students who are able to make it through may be leaving the state anyway. It also focuses, appropriately, on the loss of faculty positions and the impact of reductions in compensation for a faculty.

Tellingly it ran beside a story reporting that gaming profits are up by more than 5%!
