Special Faculty Senate meeting called for Tuesday July 14

Faculty Senate chair John Filler just sent the following message to the campus community; it is reproduced here for those who may not have seen it already.

Consistent with Section 3.0, Article 3, Paragraph 3.1.1 of the UNLV Faculty Senate Bylaws I am calling a special meeting of the Faculty Senate for Tuesday, July 14. We will convene at 12:45 p.m. in Ballroom A of the Student Union and adjourn promptly at 1:30 pm.

The entire agenda will be the "Discussion of the Selection of an Interim UNLV President". This meeting has been requested by the Chair of the Board of Regents James Dean Leavitt and Chancellor Dan Klaich who will jointly conduct the meeting once it has been called to order.

As always the meeting is open and all members of the campus community are invited to attend and participate. Every effort will be made to allow an opportunity to ask questions and to express opinion(s).
